What is a Capital Payment Account?

When you plan to establish a business entity such as AG, GmbH or Foundation in Switzerland, you need a capital payment account to collect the founding capital.

Another scenario is for an existing legal entity to raise additional capital.

Can I open a Capital Payment Account for an entity registered outside of Switzerland?

No.

The fixed price of a Capital Payment Account is 1'000 CHF. The payment instruction is:

What's the procedure for opening a Capital Payment Account?

Step 1: Contact service@fiat24.com to confirm the account opening.

Step 2: Transfer the 1'000 CHF fee from beneficiary owners to the account above. If a crypto payment is preferred, please let us know.

Step 3: Your capital payment account will be opened within 48 hours and you will receive the Payment Instruction in PDF by email.

Step 4: Beneficiary owners can now pay the capital (in CHF or EUR) into the account.

Step 5: Once all capital is paid in, we will issue a printed Pay-In Certificate to you, which is eligible for Swiss cantonal Commercial Registries to register the company.

Step 6: After the entity is established, you will have 2 options:

  1. Open a Business Account with Fiat24, and all the paid capital will be transferred to your Business Account, or

  2. We wire the capital into your account with another bank.
